Many would argue, and rightly so, that today’s world has become a lot more complicated than at any time in the past and among the reasons for such complications are high cost of living, family pressures and the global economy and also greater expectations with regard to performing at work and being able to generate increasing amounts of revenue while at work. Keeping in mind these changing factors, it is easy to understand why workplace stress has increased in the recent past, which has the undesirable effect on us in bringing about deterioration in the quality of life on both the individual as well as his/her family.
